Supervisor(s)

Hours:                Between 18.5 and 37 hours per week

Salary:                £24,184 full time equivalent

Annual leave:    33 days pro rata including Bank Holidays

Fixed Term:      31st March 2020

Location:          Wiltshire wide cover.

What you need:  You need to be client focussed and can work to support volunteers and help them grow. We need people to ensure that we can best use our staff and volunteers to provide the best quality advice, face to face and on the telephone. You will need experience of working in a customer service environment, possibly in the advice, statutory or third sector.

What you don’t need: In depth technical knowledge of a particular advice subject area. We have multiple channels of support to help you do this. You just need to bring the enquiring mind and the people skills.

Salary: £18,160 pro rata £9080 plus 6% pension contribution
 
Hours:  18.5 per week
 
Reporting to: Adviceline Supervisor
 
Annual Leave:  33 days (inc bank holidays) pro rata
 
Base Location: Trowbridge
 
JOB REQUIREMENT:  

 

Wiltshire Citizens Advice is looking for someone to join our team of telephone advisers on our Wiltshire Advice Line.
 
Reporting to the Adviceline Supervisor you will be the initial point of contact for members of the public contacting Wiltshire Citizens Advice via the telephone or e-mail.
Full training will be provided. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, enjoys telephone work, is non-judgmental and has good listening skills.

You will possess a high level of communication skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast paced setting.

Pension Wise Guidance Specialist

Salary: £26,260

Hours: Full or Part -time

Location: Employed by Wiltshire Citizens Advice. Working in Wiltshire, Bristol, South Gloucestershire

Contract: Fixed term contract up to 31st March 2021 (with the potential for extension)

Successful applicants are made a conditional offer subject to: 
  • HM Government Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)
  • Successful completion and passing of accreditation training and exam
  • Satisfactory references
  • DBS checks
Closing Date 5pm Thursday 28th February 2019

Successful candidates will be required to attend a 3 week induction programme - of which 6 days will be held in central London (travel and accommodation costs will be covered).

Offers of employment are dependent upon successfully passing the exam and role play.
